Height 24cm, Diameter 25.5cm.

The hat is assembled from 4 triangular panels cut in linen tabby (a), lined with a dense plaid effect linen tabby in cream and blue fabric (b). The outer layer was half silk (mixed with cotton) (c) decorated in thin stripes (purple, blue, white - much discoloured now). The hat was hemmed with a patterned silk (vegetal motifs, birds). Remains of cotton wading between (a) and (c). (a) has S spun yarns, density 12-14 threads /cm both for warp and weft. (b) has S spun yarns, density 16 threads/cm both warp and weft. Disposition 6 blue, 6 undyed, 2 blue, 6 undyed, 6 blue.
