Dating: 14th-15th c. CE

Present location: Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto (Canada). Inventory number ROM 973.24.3552 (sample fragments)
The complete piece was donated to the Museum of Islamic Art, Cairo and recently transferred to the Egyptian Textile Museum, Cairo, where it is probably registered under number TM 343 (data obtained during my stay in December 2017).

Dimensions (in cm): 3x0.8, 3x1. The field register gives 64x59 for the complete piece.

Weave: Twill 1/3.

Decoration: None.

Other features: The field register gives "Leather "quilt" with Mamluk "badges" sewn on, faced with yellow silk".
