Find spot (context): Meinarti (Sudanese Nubia). Fill of Building II-III, Level 5 (settlement; administrative building identified with the Eparch's palace). Field registration number: 6-K-3/370.

Dating: 13th c. CE

Present location: Sudan National Museum, Khartoum (Sudan). Inventory number 18130 [b].

Dimensions (in cm): 3 x 3; 3 x 4; 2.5 x 2; 3 x 2.5.

Weave: Pile textile (dark red, dark blue, orange, beige), but knot impossible to determine because of the state of preservation of the fabric.
