The fragment has a peculiar feature: its warps are twisted and plied into fringes, which seems to produce an end border, but in fact, there are two warps joined thread by thread with a twist. Such a process was described by Grace Crowfoot as Beaming (see section Bibliography). Similar feature appears in a 20th c. DAMMUR piece housed at the TRC (see section Relations).
