Find spot (context): Meinarti (Sudanese Nubia). Fill of Building II-III (in the bottom of a small glazed bowl), Level 5 (settlement; administrative building identified with the Eparch's palace). Field registration number: 6-K-3/102.

Dating: 13th c. CE

Present location: Sudan National Museum, Khartoum (Sudan). Inventory number 18116.

Dimensions (in cm): 9 x 9; 3 x 5; 3.5 x 1.5 ; 1.5 x 1.5.

Weave: Plaited textile.

Decoration: Undercorated.

Warp (fibre, twist, color, proportion): n.c.

Weft (fibre, twist, color, proportion): n.c.

Other features: Possibly camel wool (beige, undyed). Yarns twisted in S direction. Width of the braid: 1 cm.
