Find spot (context): Gemai (Sudanese Nubia). Site 11-I-1 (settlement - a fairly extensive Christian town built of mud brick; funerary - a fairly large cemetery nearby).

Dating: Medieval Period.

Present location: Sudan National Museum, Khartoum (Sudan). Storerooms, non inventoried.

Dimensions (in cm): 21 x 6.

Weave: Warp-faced tabby.

Decoration: Undecorated.

Other features: Two pieces sewn together with a woollen Z2s thread.
